Privacy Policy

Creators Standard Last updated: July 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Creators Standard ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase from our website, and describes the rights and choices available to you. If you have any questions, contact us at stefan@tattoogeeks.digital.

1. How We Collect Information

We collect personal information in three ways:

Information you give us directly. When you place an order, create an account, subscribe to our email list, enter a promotion, submit a support request, or contact us, you provide information such as your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment details.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we automatically collect certain information about your device and your interaction with the site. This includes your IP address, browser type and version, time zone and language settings, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs and search terms, the pages and products you view, the time spent on pages, items added to cart, and actions taken on the site. We collect this information using cookies, pixels, tags, log files, web beacons, and similar technologies. See Section 5.

Information from third parties. We receive information from service providers who support our business, including Shopify, our payment processors, our print and fulfillment partners, shipping carriers, and our advertising and analytics partners. This may include order and delivery status, fraud risk signals, and aggregated advertising performance data.

We refer to all of the above collectively as "Personal Information."

2. Categories of Information We Collect

  • Identifiers: name, email address, postal address, phone number, IP address, account credentials, order number.
  • Commercial information: products viewed, cart contents, purchase and order history, customer service records.
  • Financial information: billing address and partial payment card details. We do not store full payment card numbers. See Section 3.
  • Internet and network activity: browsing and search history on our site, device and browser characteristics, interactions with our ads and emails.
  • Geolocation data: approximate location inferred from IP address, and shipping address.
  • Inferences: preferences and characteristics derived from the above, used for product recommendations and advertising audiences.
  • User-submitted content: artwork, images, or text you send us in connection with a custom or collaborative order.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health data, or information about racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or union membership.

3. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, which may include Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal, and other providers offered at checkout. When you complete a purchase, your payment card information is transmitted directly to the applicable processor and is not stored on our systems. We receive only limited information such as the last four digits of the card, card brand, expiration date, and authorization result.

Payment processors handle your information under their own privacy policies and under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). We encourage you to review the privacy policy of the payment method you choose.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use Personal Information to:

  • Process, fulfill, and deliver your orders, including transmitting your name and shipping address to our print and fulfillment partners and shipping carriers.
  • Send transactional communications, including order confirmations, production updates, shipping notifications, and tracking information.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries, including handling claims for defective, damaged, incorrect, or lost items.
  • Screen orders for fraud, chargeback abuse, and other risk, and to verify billing and shipping information.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, debug, and improve our website and product offerings.
  • Send marketing communications about products, promotions, and new releases, where you have consented or as otherwise permitted by law. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
  • Deliver, measure, and optimize advertising, including advertising on Meta platforms and Google properties, and build audiences for that advertising. See Section 6.
  • Comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements, and to enforce our Terms of Service.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small data file placed on your device. We and our service providers use the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the site to function, including maintaining your session, remembering your cart, enabling checkout, and providing security and fraud prevention. These cannot be disabled without breaking core site functionality.
  • Analytics and performance cookies. Help us understand how visitors find and use our site so that we can improve it.
  • Advertising and targeting cookies. Used to deliver relevant ads, measure ad performance, and limit how often you see the same ad.

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may prevent you from completing a purchase or using certain site features. You can also review the following resources for information about behavioral advertising and opting out:

  • Digital Advertising Alliance: https://optout.aboutads.info
  • Network Advertising Initiative: https://optout.networkadvertising.org
  • European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: https://www.youronlinechoices.eu

Global Privacy Control. Our website recognizes the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or extension transmits a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale of personal information and targeted advertising for that browser.

Do Not Track. Because there is no consistent industry standard for interpreting Do Not Track browser signals, our site does not alter its data collection practices in response to them, other than as described above for GPC.

6. Advertising and Analytics Partners

We advertise and measure performance on third-party platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google(Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, and YouTube). To do this, we use technologies that share certain information with these platforms:

  • Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. We use the Meta Pixel on our website and may also send conversion events from our server. Information shared may include the pages and products you viewed, items added to cart, purchase events, order value, and identifiers such as a hashed version of your email address, IP address, browser identifiers, and Meta's own cookies (_fbp and _fbc). Meta uses this information to measure our ad performance and to help us reach relevant audiences.
  • Google tags and Google Analytics. We use Google tags and Google Analytics to measure site traffic, conversions, and ad performance, and to build remarketing audiences. Information shared may include device and browser data, pages viewed, conversion events, and order value.
  • Google Merchant Center and Shopping. We submit product data to Google so our products can appear in Shopping listings and ads.

These platforms may combine the information they receive from us with information they already hold about you, and may use it for their own purposes as described in their own privacy policies. We do not control their subsequent use of that information.

You can manage your advertising preferences directly with each platform:

  • Meta ad preferences: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads
  • Google ad settings: https://adssettings.google.com
  • Google Analytics browser opt-out: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

We do not sell Personal Information for money. However, our use of advertising and analytics technologies that share information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or "targeted advertising," under certain state privacy laws. You may opt out as described in Sections 5, 6, and 9.

8. Data Retention and Security

We retain your order and transaction information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to provide customer support, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and satisfy legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Where we retain information for no continuing purpose, we delete or de-identify it.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
